Corey Perry has struggled during the Stanley Cup playoffs, and now Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch is making a change.
Reports suggest that the Edmonton Oilers will likely scratch Perry for tonight's game. According to Frank Seravalli, veteran Adam Henrique will replace him.
We'll see what develops this morning, but the belief is these are the changes for #Oilers:
Stuart Skinner starts Game 6.
Adam Henrique in for Corey Perry.
Not written in sharpie, some things to sort out this morning.
However, Oilers insider Mark Spector has a different take, believing that Sam Carrick will replace Perry instead of Henrique.
It's Edmonton's turn to put the doubt in Vancouver's mind, or pack 'er in. They'll do it with Skinner in goal for Game 6, Perry possibly out, Carrick possibly in. Updates to come.
Both sources confirm that the Oilers will have Stuart Skinner in goal for Game 6, his first start since Game 3. The pressure is now on Skinner and the Oilers to force a Game 7.
