The Los Angeles Kings announced forward Arthur Kaliyev has suffered an unfortunate injury at training camp and will be sidelined for months.
This comes after the young forward secured a one-year deal with the Kings.
The 6-foot-2 winger scored seven goals and recorded 15 points in 51 games with the Kings this season, but did not play in the playoffs.
Kaliyev was mentioned in trade rumors throughout the 2023-24 season after being a healthy scratch several times.
Drafted 33rd overall by the Kings in 2019, Kaliyev has 35 goals and 71 points in 188 career games.
He also represented the United States twice at the World Juniors, helping his team win a gold medal in 2021.
