Top prospect Ruslan Iskhakov has decided to leave the New York Islanders and join a team in Russia. He will be playing for CSKA Moskva in his home country.

This news comes as a disappointment to Islanders fans, as Iskhakov had been performing well for the team in the NHL.

However, his production dropped from 51 to 45 points this season, prompting his decision to pursue a different opportunity in professional hockey.
The Islanders will now need to focus on filling the gap left by Iskhakov's departure in their prospect pool during the offseason.
