The incident occurred during a 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights on Friday, and Trouba did not receive a penalty at that time.

Jacob Trouba, 29, who has recorded three goals, 16 assists, and a plus-2 rating in 48 games this season, will be sidelined for the next two games as a result of the suspension.

Despite Trouba's absence, the Rangers are scheduled to face the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night.
