Matt Rempe under fire for recklessly injuring T.J. Oshie

Rookie Matt Rempe of the New York Rangers is under fire for a dangerous hit that injured T.J. Oshie of the Washington Capitals during their playoff game.

In Game 3 against the Capitals, Rempe's hit forced Oshie to leave the ice and later revealed he broke his hand as a result.

"T.J. Oshie said he broke his left hand on the hit by Matt Rempe in Game 3. added he'd like to find a way to play next season without going in and out of the lineup."







Despite the injury, Oshie managed to play significant minutes in Game 4, showing his resilience at 37 years old with a year left on his contract.
