In breaking news, the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a move on Monday afternoon placing a young center on the waiver wire.
Penguins Place Gruden On Waivers
According to insider Elliotte Friedman, the Pittsburgh Penguins have officially placed center Jonathan Gruden on waivers.
Gruden (PIT) on waivers
Gruden has played only 11 NHL games this season, scoring one goal, taking eight shots, and delivering 30 hits. He's averaged 8 minutes and 49 seconds of ice time.
Sending the 23-year-old winger to the minors probably indicates that Drew O'Connor, who is recovering from a concussion, will be ready to play against the Senators on Tuesday.
Do you think Gruden will get claimed?
