The Toronto Maple Leafs have received some unfortunate injury updates, leaving them without one of their defensemen for an extended period.
Connor Timmins, while not a superstar, has showcased exemplary performance during the Maple Leafs' camp, with scores surpassing a point-per-game. He was anticipated to be a part of the team from opening night, given his impressive performance.
Regrettably, Timmins won't be stepping on the ice for opening night; he's been classified as week-to-week due to a lower body injury.
Acquired last year from the Coyotes in exchange for Curtis Douglas, Timmins has proven to be an exciting offensive addition for the Leafs. Fans and teammates alike are hopeful that he'll return soon to contribute significantly to the team's success.
