Leafs Ditch Goal Song After One Game
The Leafs have been using Hall & Oates's "Dreams" as their goal song for many years. That is until this year, when the team made a surprise announcement just before the start of the season, saying the team would use a rotation of songs.
The first home game of the season featured Kid Kudi's "Pursuit Of Happiness" as the goal song. It now sounds like Leafs fans will not get another chance to hear the tune at Scotiabank Arena though as the team reportedly will not use the song again.
Tonight, Leafs fans heard "Dup Dup" as the Leafs scored seven times, taking down the Minnesota Wild 7-4. As of right now, it seems like Leafs fans will get to hear this one again at some point this season.
Also, «Dup Dup,» tonight's anthem, will be part of the goal song rotation moving forward.
It seems like Leafs fans will hear yet another new song on Monday when the team hosts the Blackhawks for another original six matchup.
