After a demoralizing 5-1 loss to the Boston Bruins in game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs are getting some positive news about William Nylander's injury status.

It has been reported that the star forward seemed to be in good spirits on Sunday following his absence from the lineup the night before, sparking hope that he will dress in game 2

Radio Silence

Despite the positive news about Nylander's positive attitude, Toronto Maples Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe says he has no update on whether Nylander will play on Monday in Boston, perhaps trying to play mind games with the Bruins in the media.
After playing all 82 games in the regular season, it came as a surprise that Nylander missed game 1, as his injury was only reported on days before the round 1 series was set to begin.
The Swedish winger finished the season with 97 points, a career high, and teammates and fans alike are hoping for a return to the Leafs lineup after an abysmal game 1 performance.
