The 28-year-old forward Sheldon Rempal left the Vegas Golden Knights to sign in Russia.
Undrafted in the NHL, Rempal worked his way up from the BCHL to the NCAA and eventually to the AHL. Since 2018, he played in 21 NHL games for the Los Angeles Kings, Carolina Hurricanes, Vancouver Canucks, and the Vegas Golden Knights.
It looks like he's ready to turn the page on the NHL as he is set to sign a contract in the KHL.

More than six years after making his NHL debut, Rempal scored his first goal with the Golden Knights earlier this season.

His dedication and perseverance paid off, as he celebrated this accomplishment.
This season, with the Henderson Silver Knights, he has an impressive tally of 43 points, including 26 goals, in 59 games.
Details will follow.
