The Washington Capitals have been one of the Eastern Conference's best teams over the past 15 years, and while plenty of that credit goes to Alex Ovechkin, there's been a solid supporting cast.
One of those key names has been Evgeny Kuznetsov, but in recent times, it appears he's been burning bridges in Washington, and now, it appears that he's criticizing young names in the organization.
According to an interview, Kuznetsov called out Russian teammate Alex Alexeyev, as he believed he'd be fighting for a role on the team in 2023-24, whereas Kuznetsov didn't see it that way.
Kuznetsov then went on to call him "a fool", as Washington landed Joel Edmundson and now, Alexeyev seemingly finds himself as the extra defenseman on their depth chart once again.
The 23-year-old finally got a solid chance to play in 2022-23, playing in 32 games and tallying five assists, if he can find another opportunity to play, he could be a solid name, but it's safe to say that being called out by a veteran could be troubling.
