Winnipeg Jets top prospect Rutger McGroarty under fire for behavioral concerns
Rutger McGroarty, once a promising prospect for the Winnipeg Jets, has now upset many within the organization due to his recent behavior.
This off-season has been challenging for the Jets, and despite minimal moves in free agency, a significant issue has arisen with McGroarty. He has been causing problems by refusing to join the NHL team, likely because he doesn't have a guaranteed spot, which has probably led to a trade request.

Due to his actions, McGroarty has been labeled a 'red flag,' and his attitude has caught the attention of many NHL teams.
"This is crazy to me. We're talking about red flag. A young man who has yet to prove himself at the pro level expects to walk in and be on an NHL roster right away...thats a problem"
It seems only a matter of time before the former first-round pick officially requests a trade. Given his behavior, this situation could worsen for the 20-year-old before it improves.
