St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington once again displayed his physical presence on Sunday night, this time going after Anaheim Ducks forward Ross Johnson.

During the game against the Anaheim Ducks, tensions rose midway through the second period when Ducks forward Ross Johnson engaged in rough play. A scrum ensued in front of Binnington's net after a high stick from Johnson, prompting the Blues goalie to step in. Binnington threw punches with both his glove and blocker in defense of his teammate.

While many fans may understand Binnington's actions, as sticking up for a teammate is a common occurrence in hockey, his aggressive response resulted in a two-minute minor penalty for roughing. It seems the additional punch with the blocker led to the penalty being assessed.
