Sabres superstar forward Tage Thompson is a huge part of the team's offense. Now they may have to play without him for an extended period of time as he left tonight's game early with an injury.
Thompson Leaves Game Early With Leg Injury
The play seemed rather harmless, but Thompson clipped skates with Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy, who also appeared to possibly clip Thompson's other skate with his stick.
Tage appeared to be in a lot of pain as his teammates helped push him towards the bench as play carried on. Notably, he appeared to be favoring his left leg, the one that made contact with McAvoy
The Sabres have given us an update, saying that he is questionable to return to the game. This could be good news has he's not been entirely ruled out, but he could still miss some time.
The Sabres play their next game on Friday when they Visit the Jets.
