Tonight, New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe finds himself in hot water once again. This time, his actions during the game against the New Jersey Devils may lead to a suspension.
Rempe Facing Suspension For Hit The Head
In the heat of tonight's rivalry matchup, Rempe engaged in a back-and-forth exchange with enforcer Kurtis MacDermid early in the game.
However, things escalated when Rempe delivered a vicious hit to Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler, elbowing him in the head along the boards. This resulted in a 5-minute penalty for elbowing and a game misconduct for Rempe.
Following the hit, MacDermid attempted to retaliate against Rempe, earning himself a 10-minute misconduct penalty.
