Last week, it was revealed that former top-10 overall pick in the NHL Nick Ritchie was released from his team in the SM-Liiga due to a major suspension.
We just learnt that Ritchie has now come to terms with a new contract.

In a significant update today, Ritchie has signed a contract with the Iserlohn Roosters in the DEL in Germany.
Nick Ritchie (@ritchboiii) 🇨🇦 is leaving Karpat (Liiga) 🇫🇮 and signing with the Iserlohn Roosters (DEL) 🇩🇪
Ritchie, 28, had one goal, five points through 10 games played in Finland's top flight hockey league.
With this move, he is moving from the sixth-ranked league to the eighth-ranked league, according to our global league rankings
Ritchie's departure from his previous team occurred due to not meeting performance expectations. In his NHL career spanning 481 games, Ritchie scored 186 points while playing for the Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Arizona Coyotes, and Calgary Flames.
