A major update has emerged regarding the investigation of Adam Johnson's tragic death.
Investigation Into Adam Johnson's Tragic Death Has Been Suspended
The investigation into the tragic death of former Nottingham Panthers player Adam Johnsonvhas taken an unexpected turn. Coroner Tanyka Rawden has decided to suspend her inquiry until July due to an ongoing police investigation by South Yorkshire Police, which remains open. A man was arrested in November in connection with the police investigation.
If the police conclude their investigation without pressing charges by July, Rawden will resume her inquiry into Johnson's death. The sad incident occurred on October 28th, 2023.
The hockey community has been deeply affected, leading to changes in rules, such as USA Hockey making neck guards mandatory for players under 18.
