The New York Islanders are in Carolina tonight to take on the Hurricanes for game 2 of their series, which the Hurricanes currently lead 1-0.

These two teams play a low-scoring, high tempo, very physical game of hockey, so if you were expecting to see an exciting high scoring series, this isn't it, but if you want to see a series that may have some big hits and physicality, this is the one.

We just witnessed an interesting play as Jordan Staal passed a puck to his teammate after collecting a rebound, and Islanders enforcer Matt Martin drops Staal from behind. While this resulted in a penalty, what happened after the hit just made things awkward. Martin decided to sit on Staal's head.
