Bobby Ryan Gets Fired From His Job Following Social Media Scandal

Former Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan made headlines this week with misogynistic comments about Women's sports on social media. Now the former NHL star is facing the consequences of his actions.
Ryan has been a member of the Coming In Hot podcast for some time now. The show focuses on the Senators, the team Ryan spent the majority of his career with. Today, the show announced on X that Ryan will no longer be part of the show.
Earlier this week, Bobby Ryan made comments on social media that do not align with our show or that of our sponsors and partner, The Nation Network. As a result, we have mutually decided to part ways.

This comes after Ryan got into arguments with fans online about Women's college basketball. The former senator mocked the sport with a misogynistic and dismissive attitude, implying that no one cares or even knows about the players.

Needless to say, many fans were not happy about this. One fan likened his comments to those made by people questioning the fandom of people wearing merchandise from a particular band.

Even Ryan himself knows he is in the wrong. This is evident by the fact that he has deleted several of the worst tweets he made in the past couple of days.
