Nikolay Kulemin and Calen Addison sign PTO deal with new NHL team

The Ottawa Senators announced today that they've signed two players to professional tryouts (PTOs) for their 2024 training camp: defenseman Calen Addison and forward Nikolay Kulemin.
According to insider Chris Johnston, both players willl report to Senators training camp and try and earn an NHL contract.
Addison, 24, was drafted 53rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2018 NHL Draft. Last season, he played 72 games, split between the Minnesota Wild and the San Jose Sharks, collecting 17 points (one goal and 16 assists). In his 152 NHL games so far, he's scored six goals and 44 assists for a total of 50 points.
Kulemin, a 10-year NHL veteran, is returning to North America after spending the last six seasons in the KHL, playing for Salavat Yulaev Ufa and Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Last year, the 38-year-old played 46 games with Salavat Yulaev, scoring 13 goals and adding 12 assists for 25 points. Kulemin, originally drafted 44th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2006, has played 669 NHL games with the Leafs and the New York Islanders, totaling 121 goals and 153 assists (274 points).
