Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice completely lost his mind on the bench, and the league office is absolutely taking notice today.

The veteran bench boss exploded on the officiating crew during a highly controversial moment last night. The raw footage instantly went viral across social media.
A highly questionable goalie interference call was made last night and Maurice was not happy. The overall consistency of the NHL rulebook remains a massive joke.
Goalie interference is widely considered the most frustrating grey area in the modern sport. Nobody actually knows what constitutes a legal play in the blue paint anymore.
Maurice ultimately reached his absolute boiling point and unleashed a profanity-laced tirade directly at the referees. He clearly screamed at them from the bench in pure disgust.
The league strictly protects its officials from public humiliation and aggressive verbal abuse. The front office does not tolerate that level of public disrespect.
Now, the fiery head coach could be facing the immediate reality of a potential $50,000 fine for his televised outburst.

Maurice to be disciplined

Florida relies heavily on creating pure chaos around the opposing crease to generate sustained offensive output. Their transition game thrives on getting pucks deep.
Over his NHL career, Maurice has routinely defended his roster with extreme passion. His locker room deeply respects that fierce loyalty.
But coughing up a massive chunk of cash to the league is a harsh reality. A $50,000 penalty sends a very expensive message to every other bench boss.
The NHL demands absolute strict discipline ahead of the grueling spring playoff push. They refuse to let coaches openly humiliate the nightly officiating crews.
Expect the league disciplinarians to officially announce their strict financial ruling very soon. Maurice will undoubtedly be forced to write a massive check.
