P.K Subban has caused a massive stir in the hockey world after his controversial comments in the first intermission of game 3 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins.
During the intermission report, Subban's co-host Steve Levy was urging him to make a joke on air after the broadcast cut to a video of Jack Eichel cutting his stick, and this is what Subban had to say.
"I'm not a carpenter but I carry around a hammer"
This comment on by itself would be inappropriate enough, but Levy made things infinitely worse with his response to the joke.
"Yes, you do I have heard."
After hearing two of their broadcasters make such inappropriate and awkward comments on the air, ESPN producers may want to have a talk with them about professionalism and appropriateness on the air.
Subban signed on as an NHL analyst in late 2022 following a successful playing career that saw him win a Norris trophy as the leagues best defender in the 2012-2013 NHL season.
