When you think of hockey in Arizona, one name stands out and that's former captain Shane Doan. He made significant contributions to hockey in Arizona during his playing career, and even had the honor of calling his son Josh's name when the Coyotes drafted him in 2021.

Now, according to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Coyotes have called up Josh Doan for his National Hockey League debut on Tuesday night.
The #coyotes have recalled Josh Doan from AHL Tucson -- the son of team legend Shane Doan. He's expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday night.
Doan, 22, has had a successful season in the American Hockey League with the Tucson Roadrunners, scoring 26 goals and tallying 20 assists for a total of 46 points in 62 games.
While stepping into the shoes of his father won't be easy, if Josh can stay true to himself, he has the potential to become a valuable member of the Coyotes for years to come.
Here he is scoring his first and second NHL goals in his first NHL game in front of his family.
Magical for the kid who looks like a gem.
