Tragic news has emerged from the junior hockey community today. It's with heavy hearts that we share the sad announcement of the passing of 22-year-old Craig Spence from the Blenheim Blades.
In a social media post, the Blenheim Blades confirmed that Craig Spence was involved in a fatal car crash. Throughout his time with the Blenheim Blades, Craig accumulated an impressive 75 points in 36 games.
We regret to inform you that Craig Spence, player for the Blenheim Blades of the PJCHL, has passed away at the age of 22 after being a part of a car crash on the 401.
