It has been six days since the National Hockey League's official trade deadline for the 2022-23 season, yet two post-deadline trades have already occurred.
Despite this, there may be a few more trades to come before the American Hockey League's trade deadline, which is scheduled for tomorrow, March 10th.
However, any players traded after the NHL's deadline will not be allowed to participate in the NHL playoffs.
This afternoon, the Detroit Red Wings traded 35-year-old Steven Kampfer to the Arizona Coyotes.
TRADE: The Coyotes have acquired D Steven Kampfer from the Detroit Red Wings for future considerations. Kampfer will report to Tucson (AHL).
In 40 games this season for the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League, Kampfer scored 4 goals and 18 assists.
