The occurrence of fighting in hockey is diminishing, but these two teams harbored animosity towards each other, resulting in a chaotic end to the game.
Despite being a closely contested U18 game that culminated in a 4-3 shootout victory, fans witnessed more than just a competitive match. Unfortunately, this game is making negative headlines due to the post-game handshake line incident.
Following each game, it is customary to show sportsmanship by shaking hands with players from the opposing team. However, during this particular handshake line, one player lost control and started throwing punches at another player. This led to pandemonium on both sides, with coaches intervening to separate the young men.
