With the NHL trade deadline approaching, trade rumors are buzzing, Marc-Andre Fleury just passed Patrick Roy for 2nd all-time in wins and his future with the Minnesota Wild is in the spotlight.

Marc-Andre Fleury Linked To Two Stanley Cup Contenders

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman hinted that if the Wild struggle, the Colorado Avalanche could be a likely destination for Fleury.
"I'll tell you this," began Friedman on the 32 Thoughts Podcast. "Marc-Andre Fleury has the right to call his shot... but, if we get to a point where the Wild are out, to me Colorado is one of those teams that is gonna ask 'Marc-Andre Fleury would you be interested in this?''

He also mentioned the Carolina Hurricanes as another potential bidder.
"The other team that screams Fleury to me is Carolina," said Friedman. "That's the other team I look at and say if Marc-Andre Fleury wants to go somewhere they will ask him."
While the New Jersey Devils need a goalie, Friedman thinks they might be looking for a more long-term solution.
Stay tuned for the evolving trade landscape in the coming weeks.
