The Arizona Coyotes forced their fans at the tailgate party to leave the arena ahead of their last game tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.

Now under new ownership led by Ryan Smith, the Arizona Coyotes have finalized their sale and are set to move to Salt Lake City, Utah.
"BREAKING: John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports is reporting that the sale of the Arizona Coyotes to Ryan Smith is completed.

It will be subject to the Board of Governor's approval tomorrow to finalize the deal."
Before their last game representing Arizona against the Edmonton Oilers, the team tried to honor their time in the state by organizing a final whiteout event, providing white shirts to fans.
"The stage is set for the Coyotes last game in Arizona.

The team has left white shirts on every seat for fans."
However, their gesture was overshadowed by the decision to push away fans participating in tailgate parties outside the arena.
"The #Coyotes let their fans down, one more time.

For the culture."
This move drew criticism from former supporters, who expressed disappointment and disdain on social media.
"Y'all really had to shutdown the fan party outside the arena pathetic"
"Way to treat your fans. You poverty franchise
Good riddance"
As the puck drop approached, sentiments among fans soured further, marking a sad end to the Coyotes' tenure in Arizona.
