On Monday, the Los Angeles Kings made a move signing a veteran free agent goaltender.

Kings Sign, Waive Dell

The Kings announced that they are placing veteran goaltender Aaron Dell on waivers, as reported by Frank Seravalli.

#LAKings are signing Aaron Dell to a contract, hence why he is on waivers today.

He's played this season in AHL Ontario and pitched a shutout on Friday night.

Dell wasn't signed to an NHL contract previously, so this move likely indicates that the Kings have signed him to a one-year, two-way contract to finish out the season. Friedman later confirmed that it was indeed a two-way deal.
