The Minnesota Wild have announced today that they have parted ways with their director of Team Operations Andrew Heydt. Heydt had previously made claims of verbal abuse against the Wild GM Bill Guerin.
After 10 years with the #mnwild, director of team operations Andrew Heydt and the Wild have mutually agreed to part ways, I'm told. Heydt had accused Bill Guerin of verbal abuse. The Wild investigated via third-party law firm but declined to publicly disclose the findings
Private Investigation Results Not Disclosed As Geurin Remains as GM
The results of the investigation by the third-party law firm have not been disclosed to the public. As of right now, Geurin remains as the GM and President of Hockey Operations for the Wild.
The Wild have said that they have taken the appropriate steps to address what was found in the investigation.
