Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman has officially been suspended for 3 games by the NHL's Department of Player Safety (DoPS) for throwing his stick at the referee.
Michael Russo of The Athletic reported that Hartman threw his stick towards an official after Jonathan Marchessault's game-winning goal on Saturday.

In the final minute of regulation, Hartman believed he was high-sticked by Golden Knights defenseman Noah Hanifin. Despite the Wild pulling their goaltender in overtime to chase two points, Marchessault scored from the Vegas half of the ice, leaving the Wild with no points from the game.

Earlier this season in November, the 29-year-old forward received a two-game suspension for tripping Detroit Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat. Player safety mentioned in that decision that Hartman was already classified as a repeat offender.
This season, Hartman has accumulated 19 goals and 42 points in 68 games with the Wild. Over his NHL career spanning 574 games, he has scored 126 goals and recorded 275 points.
