The legendary NHL goaltender Patrick Roy was out on the ice on Sunday for his first practice as head coach and was immediately making his presence felt.

Patrick Roy Already Making Noise In His First Ever Practice With The Islanders

Patrick Roy has officially made his return to the National Hockey League with his renowned fiery coaching style, now with the New York Islanders. In his first practice, Roy wasted no time asserting his presence on the ice.
Starting off slowly, he surveyed the scene before diving into directing and demanding performance from his players, barking out orders from the front of the Islanders' net.
Lots of energy from Patrick Roy at his first Islanders skate. He's barking, banging his stick on the ice and coaching up players during every drill.
Roy, a legendary former NHL goaltender, has been coaching younger players in recent years, achieving success, including winning the Memorial Cup with the Quebec Remparts in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
However, the question remains about how his intense coaching approach will be received by adult NHL players. Despite the uncertainty, Roy's wealth of experience as both a coach and a player should serve him well in his new role.
Do you think the Islanders will make the playoffs?
