The New York Rangers have officially lost a defenseman after he got claimed by a California team.
Sharks Claim Emberson
It was just announced that the San Jose Sharks have claimed defenseman Ty Emberson off waivers.

Emberson has yet to play an NHL game but has been strong in his time in the AHL.
Emberson scored 27 points in 69 games with the Hartford Wolfpack of the AHL last season.
He will now look to make his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks.
