Anaheim Ducks winger Alex Killorn is set to miss the beginning of the season with a broken finger.
Killorn Out Long Term
The Anaheim Ducks came into this season knowing it would likely be a tough one. Now with Players like Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale still unsigned and the uncertainty surrounding them, hopes for this season have fallen to an all-time low.
Today, Ducks fans got more bad news as offseason acquisition Alex Killorn has been ruled out 4-6 weeks due to a broken finger according to the NHL News Twitter account.

Killorn, 33, is coming off a career year with the Lightning in which he scored 27 goals and 64 points. The Ducks likely were not expecting that kind of production from him this season, but he was certainly expected to be a solid middle-six goal scorer. He will still have an opportunity to play that role this year, but his debut with the Ducks will have to be slightly delayed.
