Boston Bruins Czech Forward Calls Out Team Canada After Getting Embarrassed With 11 Seconds To Get Eliminated
Earlier this morning, Team Canada got eliminated by the Czechia in the quarter finals of the World Junior Championship.
While many star players weren't taking part of the tournament for Canada, this defeat is extremely dissapointing for Canadian players and their fans.
Czechia Eliminates Canada From the WJC
Czechia scored two quick goals in the first period, placing Team Canada in a tough spot early in the game.
Then, Canada scored two goals, equalizing the game.
With only 11 seconds left to the game, Czechia scored the game-winning goal to win the game 3-2.

For the first time, Czechia eliminated Canada from the tournament.
Boston Bruins Czech Forward Calls Out Team Canada
After the game,
Jakub Lauko, a Czech player for the Boston Bruins, made a statement on X, taking a shot at Team Canada.

Lauko, 23, played in three WJC between 2018 and 2020. Canada won in 2018 and 2020, making this year's elimination even more satisfying for the young Czech forward.
In 49 NHL games, he scored 10 points, including four goals. He was drafted 77th overall by the Bruins in 2018.
