Recently, a fan shared a concerning experience they had with Mitch Marner during a signing event on X (formerly known as Twitter).

[Mitch Marner] LOOKED me in my eyes at a signing after one of those open practice training camps, looked at the white kid beside me (same age btw), signed like three things for him and just completely walked past me and went to the next white kid

The post has gained attention with over 25,000 views at the time of writing. While it is unknown if the story is true or not, it is certainly alarming.

Marner currently boasts 14 goals and 38 points in 33 games this season with the Maple Leafs, ranking third on the team behind Auston Matthews and William Nylander.
