In the latest Battle of Ontario, things got crazy at the final buzzer when Toronto's Morgan Rielly went after Ottawa's Ridley Greig, and now, it's resulted in a five-game suspension for the veteran defenseman.
Morgan Rielly to have his appeal heard by the NHL Commissioner
Despite plenty of people agreeing that a five-game suspension was the right call from the NHL, it has now officially been revealed by TSN's Chris Johnston when the official in-person appeal will take place.
The hearing for Morgan Rielly's suspension appeal to NHL commissioner Gary Bettman is scheduled for noon ET tomorrow in New York.

Given his history of being a well respected, clean player on the ice, this appeal has a solid chance of success from Rielly, but with the Commissioner looking to crack down on plays like this, it's anyone's guess as to how this appeal will turn out for the veteran.
