Max Domi dropped the gloves in a rare occurrence for the Maple Leafs on Saturday, and now his father Tie Domi's reaction has gone viral.

The Toronto Maple Leafs blew the Edmonton Oilers out of the water on Saturday night, racing out to a 5-0 lead before ultimately ending the all-Canadian affair with a solid 6-3 victory.

There were some amazing individual performances and moments, with both Pontus Holmberg and Bobby McMann netting two goals for the Maple Leafs, while Auston Matthews netted a goal and an assist in the victory, but it was Max Domi that stole the show for many.

During the game with a 5-2 lead, Domi did something that he very rarely does, and that's drop the gloves, this time with Edmonton's Mattias Jankmark.

While both men got some solid shots in, it wasn't a major win for either player, and now, the reaction of his father Tie Domi in the stands is going viral.

Tie, a former Toronto Maple Leaf who dropped the gloves on many occasions throughout his career seemed fairly unimpressed with the fight from Max, and his reaction was hilarious.

Max Domi has been a key part of this lineup in 2023-24, and with his partnership with Auston Matthews flourishing on and off the ice, it's safe to say that beyond this fighting effort, Tie Domi must be proud of the way he's played.

Still, his son Max and the Maple Leafs are building major momentum ahead of the playoffs, and if they can maintain this type of fire going forward, as well as getting some big names back from injury, this is a team that no one wants to face come playoff time.
