Patrick Kane is a New York Ranger and the return is revealed

Patrick Kane, one of the NHL's most prolific forwards, has been traded to the New York Rangers. The trade, which has been rumored since the off-season, saw the Chicago Blackhawks receive a package of draft picks in exchange for Kane, who has spent his entire career with the Blackhawks.

Kane's move to the Rangers is a significant one for both teams. For the Rangers, it represents a major addition to their already talented roster, with Kane bringing his exceptional scoring ability and playmaking skills to a team that is looking to contend for the Stanley Cup. For the Blackhawks, the trade represents a final shift in focus towards a younger, more inexperienced team as they look to rebuild for the future.
This deal won't be processed until 5 pm tonight, when the cap hits will be applied to tomorrow's roster, at which time the Rangers will have enough cap space.
